Esther R. (Kuhns) Schwartz, 52, of Etna Green, died at 4:18 pm, Saturday, Sept.12, 2020, at Goshen Hospital. She was born November 15, 1967, in Bremen to Roman L. and Martha (Plank) Kuhns. On September 15, 1989, she married Devon R. Schwartz in Bremen.
She was a lifetime resident of this area. She was a homemaker and a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Surviving are her husband, Devon; children, David Schwartz, at home, Dora (Mervin) Yutzy, Bremen, Cheryl (Steven) Bontrager, Sturgis, Mich., Ruby (Calvin) Kuhns, Jolene (Gary) Harshberger, both of Bremen, Leora Schwartz, Debra Schwartz, Sheila Schwartz, all at home; 5 grandchildren; and siblings, Rosetta Kuhns, Plymouth, Lorene Borkholder, Middlebury, Ivan (Norma) Kuhns, Bremen, Levi (Mary) Kuhns, Shipshewana, LaMar (Lorene) Kuhns, Bremen, Carol (Paul) Graber, Argos, Frieda (Keith) Abbott, Sheridan, Ill., and Homer (Clara) Kuhns, Plymouth. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Leann Schwartz, parents, father-in-law, Ernest Schwartz, and brother-in-law, Darrell Borkholder.
Family and friends may call after 2 Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2020, and all day Wednesday, Sept. 16 at the family residence, 8099 N 800 W, Etna Green. Funeral services will begin at 9:30 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 17 at the family residence. The Home Ministry of the Old Order Amish Church will officiate and burial will be in Graber Cemetery
