Fannie Matilda Miller, 90, formerly of Nappanee, passed away peacefully Friday, Nov. 6, 2020, at 8:10 a.m. at her daughter Sarah’s home in Goshen, where she was able to live the last 2 weeks surrounded by family.
She was born Aug. 27, 1930, in Mt. Eaton, Ohio, to Noah and Fannie (Hershberger) Yoder. On Nov. 11, 1947, she married John H. Miller. Her funeral will be on what would have been their 73rd anniversary.
He preceded her in death Sept. 21, 2012. She had lived in the Nappanee area since 1968. She was a member of NorthWood Chapel, Nappanee. She enjoyed visiting her nieces and nephews and spending time with her grandchildren. She had a great and abiding love for her Lord.
Surviving are her daughters, Ruth (Mike) Meine, Kerrville, Texas, Sarah Friend, Goshen, Lucinda (Donnie) Gaut, Nappanee; sons, Abraham (Donna) Miller, White Pigeon, Mich., Elam (Diana) Miller, Sherman, Texas, Devon Miller, Fort Wayne, Keith (Roxanne) Miller, Bremen; grandchildren, Susan Larson, Patrick Meine, Kelly Meine, Scott Bethel, Julie Welker, Stacey McDonald, Nikole Barrett, Jennifer Friend, Dallas Miller, Travis Miller, Jessica Miller, Josh Gaut, Rachel McKinnis, Mandy Hilderbrant, Amy Henry, Sara Wilson, Christina Miller, Elam Miller, Amelia Miller, Diane Miller, Jason J. Miller, John Ben Miller, Jacob J. Miller, Gabe Miller, Levi Miller, Lance Miller, Ashley Bohnke, Allen Miller, Ian Miller, Jacob N. Miller, Paul Miller; 34 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; granddaughter, Valeri Amos; grandson, Jason M. Miller; sisters, Mary Ann Miller, Catherine Zook, Sarah Miller, Elizabeth Miller; brothers, Daniel Yoder, John Henry Yoder, Eli Yoder, and Abraham Yoder.
Family and friends may call from 3-8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2020, at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee, and one hour prior to the 10 a.m. funeral service on Wednesday, November 11th at NorthWood Chapel (28220 Co Rd 52, Nappanee, IN). Burial will follow in South Union Cemetery.
