Sue Ann Kulp-Shoemaker

Sue Ann Kulp-Shoemaker, 77, of Goshen, formerly of Nappanee, passed away at 5:45 a.m., Sunday, April 30, 2017, at Miller’s Merry Manor, Wakarusa, where she had been admitted Thursday. 

She was born Nov. 7, 1939 in Nappanee to Thomas and Pearl (Adams) Pletcher.  She lived her lifetime in the Nappanee, Goshen, and Elkhart County area.  On Aug. 25, 1957 she married Jimmie L. Kulp in Nappanee.  He preceded her in death Sept. 2, 1983. Sue was a 1957 graduate of Nappanee High School. She retired from Morgan Drive Away.  Sue enjoyed spending time with her family, and her dog Tosha, and sewing hand towels.

Sue is survived by her daughter, Brenda Bennett, Elkhart; son-in-law, Mark (Barb) Mast, Goshen; grandsons, Derek (Jennifer) Mast, Nappanee, Scott Mast, Goshen; great-grandchildren, Nate, Gabe, Elijah, and Angelica; sisters, Connie (Roy) Brock, Milford, Linda (Larry) Coffel, Fort Wayne.  She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; daughter, Barbie Mast; great-granddaughter, Emily Mast; and sister, Nancy Yoder.

Family and friends may call from 2-8 p.m., Wednesday, May 3, at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee and one hour prior to the 11 a.m. funeral services on Thursday, May 4th, also at the funeral home.  Rev. Frank Ramirez, and her brother-in-law, Larry Coffel will officiate. Burial will follow in Union Center Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be given to Huntington’s Disease Foundation.
