Michial Patric Thompson, II, 39, Nappanee, died at 1:47 a.m., Sunday, Feb. 26, 2017 at Parkview Hospital, from an auto accident in Noble County.
He was born May 13, 1977 in South Bend to Mike and Roberta Gail (Benson) Thompson. Michial grew up in the Mishawaka area, he later moved to Nappanee. He graduated from Penn High School. He married Heidi Bonham. He loved his family. This past Christmas he made crosses for the family. He was a Fight Club Graduate through the Grace Community Church, where he attended. He enjoyed art, knives, drawing, and sculpturing. Michial was an outdoorsman. He enjoyed hiking, camping, and going to the beach.
He is survived by his wife, Heidi Thompson, Nappanee; children: Cole, Ethan, and Karli Vance, all at home; Breanna Clutter, Colorado; parents: Michial and Roberta Thompson, Wakarusa; Virgil and Jennifer Bonham, Goshen; brothers: John Thompson, Goshen; Chad (Jamie) Thompson, Nappanee; sister, Sarah (Keith) Jackson, Wakarusa; five nieces; eight nephews; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Family and friends may call from 2-8 p.m., Thursday, March 2 at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee, and one hour prior to the 1:30 p.m. funeral services, Friday, March 3rd, at Grace Community Church, (20076 C.R. 36, Goshen). Pastor Jim Brown will officiate. Cremation will follow.
Michial fought general addictions most of his life. He lost his battle, but would encourage friends to seek help before it’s too late.
