Jean (Hall) Rowland, age 90, of Nappanee, passed away Feb. 19, 2016, at Miller’s Merry Manor, Wakarusa.
Born in Marshall County on March 11, 1925, she was the daughter of Fred and Nell (Yager) Hall of Bourbon.
On Nov. 25, 1945 in Bourbon, she was united in marriage to Argyl Rowland, who preceded her in death. She was a graduate of Bourbon High School and resided in Nappanee for nearly 70 years, where she was a member of the Nappanee United Methodist Church.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by daughter Jett and two brothers, James and Charles Hall. Remembered as a loving, devoted and caring wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
She is survived by her two daughters: Jill (and spouse Kenton) Ervin, Nappanee; Sue (and spouse Tim) Wildes, Chapman Lake; three grandsons: Mark and Jason Ervin, Nappanee; and Larson Manifold, Middlebury. Also surviving are five great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are being made through Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee. A family celebration of life will be held at a later date.
